Welcome to the Ebenezer Youth Ministry

Mission Statement

"Reach, teach, and equip young people to live out God’s will through the transformative power of His Word."

In a culture where wrong has become right and right has become wrong, it is even more necessary for our youth to make a bold declaration in what they believe in. Our vision for the Youth Ministry (YM) is that we empower our young people to stand for what they believe, which  is that Jesus Christ bleed and died on Calvary so that my soul could be saved.

As A Leader

It is my belief

As a leader I take the responsibility of being the front runner in this initiative. Over the past 5 years I have challenged myself to be the best follower possible under Pastor Reaves and Pastor Tre. It is my belief, to be a great leader one must master the art of following. In these years I have challenged myself to get to know our youth and develop a relationship that leaves a lasting impression. I’ve worked side by side with many of you and look forward to developing lasting relationships with all the leadership and volunteers.

Many focuses will include establishing effective and efficient communication, equal focus on all age groups, curriculum and more concise event planning. We will begin a college focus that will consist of care packages and newsletters to all Ebenezer college students. In addition, we will be collecting data on all of our youth to ensure we are developing relationships that allow our youth and parents to know that we care about them in all areas of their lives.

Last, we will be splitting the youth up so that leaders and volunteers have a group of young individuals that they are responsible for, which will include going to occasional events, sending out birthday cards or just a high five when you encounter them at church.

States that I take responsibility in my own walk with God.

States that I will stand firm in what I believe no matter what the world or individuals that I encounter daily, may say.

States that I have had a life changing encounter with JESUS, where "I" accepted him as my personal savior, and for the rest of my life I will live a life that is pleasing in God's eyes.
