Gladys O. Shepard

Gladys O. Shepard joined the Ebenezer fellowship in 1999 and soon after began working as a volunteer. She later became a part time employee and then accepted the full time position of Administrative Assistant to the Senior Pastor. She has served faithfully and humbly for the past 18 years in service to the Pastor, First Lady, all the ministries and leaders of the church. In addition to her role as an employee, she serves in leadership as Secretary for the Corporation and as a member of the Board of Directors. She is very supportive of the total ministry of Ebenezer and is a dedicated member of the fellowship.

Gladys is the oldest daughter (of 7 children) born to Mrs. Fannie Corbett Kirby and the late Mr. James Roosevelt Kirby. She is a native of Prospect Hill, NC, in Caswell County. She attended Caswell County High School and graduated from Bartlett Yancey Senior High in Yanceyville, NC. She attended Alamance Community College and Brookstone School of Business in Greensboro, NC.

After God, family is priority in her life. Gladys has three children: Tracey (husband Rev. Gregory), Timothy, and Tia, and she is a proud grandmother of 8. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:4-5
