Anthony McDonald

At the humble age of three, Anthony traveled with his mother’s countywide youth choir and it was there where the seeds of music ministry were sown. This early exposure to artists such as Hezekiah Walker, John P. Kee, and Milton Brunson, fueled Anthony’s passion for gospel music which in turn gave Anthony a desire to learn the drums and later the piano and organ.

Anthony attended the illustrious Elizabeth City State University where he studied Music Sound Recording Technology and studied Applied Tuba. During his tenure at Elizabeth City, Anthony participated in the ECSU Marching Sound of Class (Sousaphone), Symphonic Band (Tuba), Jazz Ensemble (Baritone), Brass Ensemble (Baritone), and University Choir (Drums).

Anthony has had the distinct honor and privilege to accompany artists such as Luther Barnes, Beverly Crawford, Douglas Miller, Deitrick Haddon, Markise Hicks & The M. O. Band, and many other artists throughout the states of North Carolina and Virginia.

Anthony has a loving wife Whitney and one son Anthony M. McDonald.
